Time slows
Sun beats down
He runs

Heart beats
Head pounds
One foot, another
Concentration

Shadow covers him
Shriek Distant
Yet too close

Heart beats
Head pounds
One foot, another
Concentration
He runs
Sun beats down

He feels the rush of air
From the beat of the wings
Too close

Heart beats
Head pounds
One foot, another
Concentration
He runs
Sun blocked
He stops
Time resumes its regular pace
